A poet may describe life
With words that paint pictures in our minds.
An artist may draw scenes from life
With pictures painted for our eyes.
A musician may call upon life
With sounds that ring into our ears.
A chef may make the tastes of life
Alive with the dishes served for our tongues.
A perfumier may squeeze the smells of life
Into tiny bottles for our noses.
A seamstress may sew life together
With fabrics that touch the most intimate parts of our body.
Yet none of these are more real
Than your presence to the flower blossoming in the shy morning sun.
