This week’s practice is to “Just Be”.
Be patient – just as flowers need time to bloom, so too does your environment, your mind, your life, and you.
Be compassionate – just as everyone seeks love and happiness, so too you should pursue your own love and happiness without selfishly undermining other’s same pursuit.
Be happy – just as the prettiest face is one that’s smiling, so too the most fulfilling life is one that’s happy.
Be free – just as the lightest chariot runs the fastest, so too a life with little attachments and burdens is the one most enjoyed.
Be still – just as we can’t see the depths of a lake if the water’s stirred, so too we should practice stillness to see the depths of our heart and mind.
Be wise – just as we don’t mistake the moon’s reflection for the moon, see the world for what it is and not through your self-perception.
Be you – just as the clearest reflection comes from a clean mirror, the truest understanding of ourselves comes from an honest appreciation and acceptance for who we are, including the good and the bad.
Just be – just as life’s moments and beauty can’t be described in words, so too life is not to be thought of, but lived, felt and experienced at its truest essence.
In such a state, we can ……………………. just be
